The following definitions refer to the charts located below in this page.

Classification: The term "Classification" refers to the type of offense reported. Each offense is recorded under a specific classification. The below mentioned table indicates the various types of classifications used by the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.

Number: The term "Number" refers to how many times this classification was reported.

Cleared: The term "Cleared" refers to how many cases of that particular classification reported were solved, dismissed, or otherwise cancelled.

Percent: The term "Percent" refers to the percentage of cases cleared in that particular classification versus the number of cases reported in that classification. Note--In some instances, the percentage indicates more than a 100% clearance ratio. This is because cases were cleared from a previous year.
