Meet your Sedgwick County Treasurer Linda Kizzire!

The Sedgwick County Treasurer's primary function is to collect real estate, personal property, intangible and motor vehicle taxes, special assessments and other miscellaneous taxes for Sedgwick County, cities, townships, school districts, and other taxing jurisdictions.  The Treasurer apportions and distributes such revenue to local taxing units.  In addition, the Treasurer functions as a bank for all revenue-generating County departments.

News and Events

IMPORTANT NEWS FOR TAXPAYERS:

You can spread out the payments of your tax liability with Sedgwick County. This allows taxpayers who do not have a mortgage to even out their tax payments. Instead of one or two large tax payments, taxpayers who use this service can pay a fixed amount monthly. This is particularly helpful to those on a fixed income and homeowners without a mortgage. Tax Payment Reminder

Sign up to receive an electronic reminder from the Sedgwick County Treasurer when your real estate or personal property taxes are due. Remember, taxes are billed each November. Payment is due December 20. You may pay all or half of the taxes due by December 20. If your first half payment is made on time, then your second half payment is due May 10.
