Juvenile Clinic: A service of
COMCARE that provides psychological evaluation and counseling for adolescents and their
families. The Juvenile Clinic is located at:

Juvenile Community Residential Services: The
Sedgwick County Department of Corrections,
Division of Youth Services, provides juvenile community residential services for male
juvenile offenders at the Judge Riddel Boys Ranch and the Sedgwick County Youth Aftercare
Project. Residents of the programs must be adjudicated juvenile offenders
placed in the custody of the State:
Juvenile Court: The
Juvenile Department
of the District Court serves youth in the Sedgwick County court

Juvenile Court Appointed Attorney: Statutes
require juveniles are assigned a court- appointed attorney. The judge assesses
the amount of attorney fees to be paid by the juvenile. The attorney will talk with
the juvenile and his/her parents on the day of the initial appearance or first hearing.

Juvenile
Detention Facility: The Juvenile Detention Facility is the secure juvenile
detention facility serving Sedgwick County and is operated by the
Department of Corrections. For

Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center (JIAC):
The Sedgwick County
Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center is a 24-hour,
seven day per week program. Referrals into the program
are accepted only from law enforcement agencies and the
district attorney's staff. The Juvenile Intake and

Juvenile Home Detention: The
Department
of Youth Services provides home detention services for the Courts and State through the
Home Based Supervision Program, operated from the Juvenile Detention Facility.
