Zoo, Sedgwick
County: The Sedgwick County Zoo is a leader in innovative and naturalistic animal
exhibits featuring animals from all over the world and is the most popular
recreational facility in our state. In addition to public recreation,
the Zoo may be used as a site for company picnics, birthday parties, and other special
events. Its Education Department offers classes and tours for all ages, and
volunteers enjoy their experiences working everywhere in the Zoo. The 247-acre Zoo
is conveniently located at 1-235 and Zoo Boulevard in Wichita:
