Who has to file?

Anyone who owns a manufactured home located or registered in Sedgwick County as of January 1st that is not permanently affixed to real estate must file a Personal Property form with the Appraisal Office each year per Kansas Statute 79-303 and 79-306.  A description and a location of the mobile home must be included on the form.

Filing Deadline?

There are filing deadlines for the Personal Property forms per Kansas Statute 79-306.  We encourage you to contact us and file the form in a timely manner to avoid paying state mandated penalties.

The Personal Property form describing what you owned, held or leased, as of January 1st, must be filed with our office by March 15th EACH year.
