Physical and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board

Bylaws

The Sedgwick County Developmental Disability Organization serves as a management organization for federal, state, and local governmental funding that supports services for developmentally disabled persons in Sedgwick County. The Physical and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board meets quarterly to evaluate plans and programs in this service system. The recommendations of the advisory board are utilized by the Board of County Commissioners to oversee services for persons with disabilities in Sedgwick County.

2009 Full Board Meetings are from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:

• Tuesday, February 10 at Rainbows United Kids’ Cove, 2258 N. Lakeway Circle
• Tuesday, May 12 at CPRF, 5111 E. 21st St. N.
• Tuesday, August 11 at SCDDO, 615 N. Main
• Tuesday, November 10 at ResCare, Ventures Business Park at K-96 & Oliver

Full Board meetings will be hosted by volunteering agencies, notification will be sent prior to each meeting.

2009 Executive Committee Meetings are from 8 to 10 a.m. on the following dates at 615 N. Main, Wichita:

• Wednesday, January 14
• Wednesday, March 11
• Wednesday, April 8
• Wednesday, June 10
• Wednesday, July 8
• Wednesday, September 9
• Wednesday, October 14
• Wednesday, December 9
