Ammonia

Nutrients are essential for life to exist and continue to develop.

Ammonias are nutrients that act in a suffocating manner toward aquatic life.  Higher levels make it more difficult for aquatic life to survive.  Levels are measured in "parts per million" (ppm) and the recommended values are measured using a chart comparing temperature and the acceptable level of ammonia.
