Nutrients Data
Orthophosphates
Nutrients are what is essential for life to exist and continue to develop.
Orthophosphates are generally a limiting factor,
meaning that they control how much other nutrients can be used in a certain area. Orthophosphate is the dissolved inorganic form found in aquatic environments. The
recommended value is less than 0.1 parts per million in bodies of water,
amounts in excess of this are major contributors to high eutrophic
levels.
