Total Dissolved Solids Data
Total dissolved solids can be defined by the amount of material that is measured in a body of water. This means that all of the material that is decomposing and using up oxygen. Total dissolved oxygen is measured in parts per million or
(ppm).
The recommended value for total dissolved solids in a body of water is less than 500
ppm.
