Conductivity Data

Conductivity is the measure of the ions in a body of water.  This has a direct correlation to the amount of salts in the water.  Formulas can be used to derive the amount of salts in a body of water by taking the measure of conductivity and the temperature of the body of water.

Conductivity is measured in microsiemens per centimeter, and is designated as (uS/cm).  This is the unit that measures the amount of ions by how well an electrical current carries.

The recommended value for conductivity is below 300 microSeimens/cm.
