Sedgwick County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

In February 2004, the Board of Sedgwick County Commissioners created the Sedgwick County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC).  The CJCC is committed to serve as the planning body for the Criminal Justice System in Sedgwick County.

The principal mission of the CJCC is to study the Sedgwick County criminal justice system, identify deficiencies and formulate policy, plans and programs for change when opportunities present themselves.  In addition, its mission is to communicate and present planning, financial, operational, managerial, and programmatic recommendations to the agencies represented on the CJCC.

Meetings are held at 10 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month in the County Manager’s Board Room, third floor of the County Courthouse.
