Judge Warren Wilbert is the assigned judge for the above case. All hearings are in his court. There are currently two hearings scheduled:  Pretrial Motions are scheduled on Tuesday, December 22^nd, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The motions to be heard (in no particular order) are:

• State’s Motion in Limine

• Defendant's Motion for Discovery

• Defendant's Motion in Limine

• Defendant's Motion for Change of Venue

• Defendant's Motion for Order Prohibiting Jury Selection in Violation of Batson v Kentucky

The jury trial is scheduled to begin on January 11, 2010, with jury selection. That process is expected to take approximately one week. The following Monday, 1/18/10, is a holiday so the Courthouse will be closed. The trial will resume on Tuesday. Once a jury has been selected, opening statements and evidence will begin. That portion of the trial is expected to last approximately two weeks.
