Why Sedgwick County?
Local Business Landscape
Located in the Air Capitol of the World, it is no surprise that a
major player in Sedgwick County business is the aerospace industry,
including corporations such as Boeing, Cessna, Hawker-Beechcraft,
Leerjet, and Spirit AeroSystems, which also help support a diverse
manufacturing industry.

Sedgwick County is also home to one of the largest private companies in America, Koch Industries, which owns companies involved in refining and chemicals; process and pollution control equipment and technologies; minerals and fertilizers; polymers and fibers; commodity and financial trading and services; and forest and consumer products.

But, it doesn't stop there. The business landscape in Sedgwick County is as vast as the land. Sedgwick County rests in the health care capitol of Kansas; three major universities call Sedgwick County home; and the real estate market is among the strongest in the country.
Live and Play
Located
along the Arkansas River, Sedgwick County is home to a number of cultural and
recreational opportunities. From museums, such as Old Cowtown Museum, Kansas
Sports Hall of Fame, and the Wichita Art Museum to the nationally renowned
Sedgwick County Zoo and
Exploration Place.

The largest city in Kansas, Wichita, rests in the middle of Sedgwick County and brings with it endless shopping, restaurant and entertainment venues. Outdoor recreation also is plentiful with area lakes, parks and biking/hiking trails.
Real estate prices and great school systems are reasons enough to relocated
here, but the Midwest charm and values are why so many continue to call Sedgwick
County home.
