Sedgwick County Fire District 1 is a proud member of the Fire and Burn Safety Alliance of South Central Kansas.  Our Public Education Section has a strong commitment to reach our high-risk audiences, including juvenile fire setters.

Sedgwick County Fire District 1, the Sedgwick County Department of Corrections, Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office, along with other community partners conduct a special program for youth who have shown an interest in playing with fire or have set fires. About the Alliance

The Fire and Burn Safety Alliance of South Central Kansas Inc. is a non-profit organization’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by decreasing the incidence, severity, and consequences of fires and burns among residents of South Central Kansas, with special emphasis on high-risk populations, through prevention, intervention, and education.  There are currently nine (8) counties represented:  Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick, and Sumner.
