Station 32, located at
501 E. 53rd. St. N., Park City, was built in 1991 and is
approximately 10,000 sq. ft. in size with six bays and covers a response
area of 70 square miles with both urban and rural areas. The station
provides protection to Park City. The Hazardous Materials response team
for the Fire Department is located at Station 32.
Major businesses include: Goodyear Tire, Chance Manufacturing, Buckley
Industries, KICE Industries, Wichita Greyhound Park, Kansas Coliseum and
others.

Quint
32, Squad
32, Tender
32, and HazMat
32. Station 32 also contains the regional hazardous materials response
vehicle for this region of the state. HazMat 32 responds to incidents
throughout the county. The personnel operate on a 3-shift (platoon)
rotation and work a 24-hour shift on and 48 hours off. Five personnel
are assigned to each shift, including 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant, and 3
Firefighters.
Station 32 averages 77 responses monthly within its designated response
area.
