Prenatal Care (M&I)

The Maternal and Infant Program (M&I) is a comprehensive health program designed to serve pregnant women and their infants.  The goal of the program is to improve the health of the mother during the pregnancy and a healthy term infant at time of delivery.  The M&I clinic uses interpreters for the improved delivery of services to clients who speak English as a second language.  The program offers clients a team of obstetricians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and dieticians to maximize the health of pregnant women.  Women see the various members of the health care team by appointment.  Call 316-660-7300 to schedule an appointment with the staff in M&I.

The Sedgwick County Health Department offers:

  • Prenatal services to women and teens who meet eligibility requirements.
