FUNDING CYCLE
Sedgwick County Community Crime Prevention grants are awarded through a competitive request for proposal process (RFP). County crime prevention grants are awarded on a July to June fiscal year basis. The last RFP was issued in Spring 2004 for fiscal year 2005. The RFP provided for two, one-year options to
renew. As long as vendors meet their contractual obligations and program outcomes the next RFP will be issued in Spring 2007 for fiscal year 2008 grant awards.
Mid-year or special interest RFP’s may be issued as the need arises. If you would like to receive a copy of the RFP to apply for funding please contact Jeannette Livingston at (316) 660-7612. You can also check the Sedgwick County Purchasing Department’s website list of all current RFP’s at:
