How to do Business with Sedgwick County
Sedgwick County is committed to providing
opportunities for participation in bidding processes for all
vendors and it is our desire to incorporate as much diversity as
possible in the procurement and contract activities.
Businesses are encouraged to respond to invitations for request
for bids and request for proposals. In addition, the
County strongly encourages each contractor and/or supplier with
which the County contracts to actively solicit disadvantaged
business enterprises, including but not limited to, minority
business enterprises, woman/owned businesses, small businesses,
and businesses located within the community as subcontractors
and/or suppliers for projects where possible.
As part of the continuing effort to help vendors
succeed in participating in bid process, Sedgwick County
Purchasing is offering training classes in How to do Business
with Sedgwick County.
