The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant effect on the lives of people around the world, including us in Sedgwick County. As a county, we have seen illness and death from COVID-19 but we have also seen and experienced kindness and support from local businesses, organizations, and our community members. The support from volunteers and donations from the community have made a great impact on first responders’ and healthcare facilities’ involved in the fight against COVID-19.
