Inmate Search
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office now offers “real time” custody and booking information on all inmates held in the custody of the sheriff via internet access. “This new service gives the public access to all information that is considered open to the public without having to call or make a formal request” said Sheriff Hinshaw.
The inmate search application allows the public to view data on all inmates in custody. The inmate’s location, charges, bond amounts and visitation schedule are all available through a simple name search.
Active Warrants Search
Most active warrants through the district court are now available to view online. The sheriff’s office is constantly striving to utilize today's technology to accomplish their mission, as well as make information and services more accessible to the public. Placing active warrants online is meant to assist the sheriff's office in serving the more than 11,000 current active warrants. The public can search by name for an active warrant, and find information on how to take care of the outstanding issue. Additionally, they can contact the sheriff's office with information on the whereabouts of a wanted person by calling 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316.267.2111, or using the turn-in-a-felon link on the website.
