Mobile Vaccination Clinics Continue Through February

(Sedgwick County, KS) – Throughout the month of February, the Sedgwick County Health Department (SCHD) will continue to offer mobile vaccination clinics throughout Sedgwick County. SCHD has established regular stops Mondays through Thursdays at the following locations this month:

Mondays

(Feb. 7, 14, 28)

Tuesdays

(Feb. 8, 15, 22)

Wednesdays

(Feb. 9, 16, 23)

Thursdays  

(Feb. 10, 17, 24)

300 N. McLean Blvd., 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Alford Library

3447 S. Meridian Ave., 3–7 p.m.

WSU Charles Koch Arena

1845 Fairmount St.

9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Former Metro Blvd. High School

741 S. George Washington Blvd.

7–10 a.m.

Walters Library

4195 E. Harry St.

3–7 p.m.

 

 

COVID-19 vaccinations are also offered at the Community Vaccine Clinic, 223 S. Main in Wichita. Beginning Monday, Feb. 7, the new hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

SCHD provides first doses through boosters of Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and older and Johnson & Johnson vaccine for people over 18. Identification is not required to get vaccinated, but proof of prior vaccination(s) expedites registration. Individuals under 18 years old must have parent or guardian consent for vaccination.

SCHD partners with organizations and community partners – including schools, businesses, churches, libraries, and other community sites in Sedgwick County – to host mobile vaccination clinics. To inquire about hosting a clinic, email vaccineleads@sedgwick.gov.
