Sedgwick County Election Commissioner to Discuss Important 2024 Presidential Primary Election Dates

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Let’s use Presidents’ Day to talk about the Presidential Preference Primary! Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater will be available for media interviews Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101 in Wichita. She will discuss the following important dates related to the Kansas Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 19:

• Feb. 20 – Last day to register to vote, change political party affiliation and submit advance mail ballot applications
• Feb. 28 – Advance ballots begin mailing
• March 4 – Advance in-person voting begins at Election Office
• March 12 – Advance in-person satellite voting centers open with added locations and days
