The Consumer Fraud and Economic Crime Division of the District Attorney in Wichita has been successful in obtaining a $43,424 settlement against a Minnesota construction company.  Read more.

Traffic and Diversion Numbers

Law Enforcement Networking

Sheriffs and county attorneys from south central Kansas met in Wichita to discuss how best to help each other when investigations cross county lines.  The networking took place Friday afternoon at Ark Valley Lodge, north of the Sedgwick County Courthouse.  Click here to see a list of the attendees.

Sedgwick County DA

Marc Bennett is Sedgwick County's new District Attorney of the 18th Judicial District, Sedgwick County, State of Kansas.  Mr. Bennett has served in the District Attorney's office for 15 years supervising Trial Division II, including the prosecution of sex crimes, human trafficking, domestic violence and elder abuse.  Read more about District Attorney Marc Bennett.
