Emergency Accident Reporting in Effect 1.5.24

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has activated the Emergency Accident Reporting Plan (EARP).  If you are involved in a non-injury accident and the vehicles are drivable, no alcohol or drugs are involved, exchange information with the other driver’s involved. You can then contact the Sheriff’s Office Squad Room at 316-660-3760 to arrange to file a report. You will need to have the following information to complete the forms:

• Driver’s name
• Drivers’ License Number and State of Issuance
• Home Address, City and State
• Phone Number
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) typically found on dash and insurance card
• License Plate Number
• Name of Insurance Company
• Location of accident- Street Names, intersection, etc.
• Take photos with your phone and submit those with the forms
