PSD Turbo Passing 3.22.24

It is with a heavy heart, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of Police Service Dog Turbo. PSD Turbo was diagnosed with a fast moving and terminal form of cancer.

PSD Turbo joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2018 and was a vital contributor to detention operations. PSD Turbo played a key role in the elimination of contraband from the detention facility.

This morning, PSD Turbo passed away peacefully with his handler and several other co-workers by his side.
