Free Mattress Disposal Coupon Available Oct. 13, 2025

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Environmental Resources will distribute coupons for free mattress disposals, open to all Sedgwick County residents, beginning Monday, Oct. 13, 2025.

Residents may fill out a request form and will be mailed coupons after submission. The coupon allows for citizens to dispose of up to two mattresses or box springs of any size at no charge. The coupons are valid for one month from the date of request. Coupons will be accepted at Brooks Landfill, 4100 N West Street in Wichita.

No unloading assistance will be provided, and no other furniture, appliances or trash will be accepted. There is a limit of one coupon per residence, while supplies last.
