Important Notice: Enhanced Security Measures
To ensure the highest level of protection for your sensitive information, such as Social Security Numbers, we have implemented enhanced security measures within our Land Record Search system. These protocols allow us to monitor all user access, including the specific computer used and the documents viewed. Please be aware that all users are required to comply with the Kansas Open Records Statute (K.S.A. 45-230) when utilizing our services.
Deed records from 1930 to the present are indexed and available for public viewing. All other records are indexed and available for public viewing from 1969 to the present.
Some records might not be available to view online right now. However, you can still access all records in person at the Ruffin Building:100 N Broadway, Suite 105, Wichita, KS

How to Access Public Records
We offer several ways to get the documents you need:
- In-Person Access
- Where: Ruffin Building (Douglas and Broadway)
- When: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (no appointment needed)
- Details: Free public computers are available. Printing document images costs $1.00 per page.
- Remote Requests
- If you’re out of town: Call us at 316-660-9400.
- Our staff can look up your document, take payment, and email you a copy for $1.00 per page.
- Online Subscription Options
- Laredo: Best for daily or professional users. Monthly subscription required.
- Tapestry: Great for occasional users. Pay per search.
