Why is the Sedgwick County Register of Deeds offering the Veteran & Military Discount Card Program?
The Veteran & Military Discount Card Program was established with the intention of helping veterans like yourself save money with local businesses as a small way of saying “thank you for your service.”
Who is eligible?
All active-duty military, guard/reservists and veterans with an honorable or general discharge. Identification will be checked prior to processing.
How do you obtain the discount card?
Simply come to the Sedgwick County Register of Deeds Office, on the first floor of the Ruffin Building downtown at 100 N Broadway St. 105, during normal business hours or the Sedgwick County Tag Office at 5620 E Kellogg (closed 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch). If you are a veteran, please bring your DD-214 or other proof of service. If you have previously recorded your DD-214 with our office, we can retrieve certified copies at no cost. Once you are enrolled, you will receive your discount card with your photo the same day.
