Sedgwick County Appraiser to Give 2026 Annual Report
(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Appraiser Deanna Aspedon will present the 2026 annual property valuation report to the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 9 a.m. Aspedon will outline the factors driving increased valuations this year.
Aspedon will be available for media interviews immediately following the BoCC meeting outside the lower-level auditorium in the Ruffin Building, 100 N. Broadway.
On March 1, 2026, the Appraiser’s Office will mail out approximately 239,000 valuation notices for all real property parcels in Sedgwick County. The notice will include the property’s appraised value and instructions on how to appeal. Property owners are encouraged to carefully review their valuation notice.
All valuations will be posted on the Appraiser’s Office website at https://www.sedgwickcounty.org/appraiser/, along with more information on property valuations and the appeal process.
The Sedgwick County Appraiser determines fair market value for each property and applies professional appraisal standards and analysis in property assessments. The Sedgwick County Appraiser does not set tax rates, which are established by local governing bodies.
