Election Commissioner to Discuss USD 259 Bond Election Dates
(Sedgwick County, Kan.) –With more than 200,000 registered voters in the USD 259 Wichita Public School District, the bond election on Feb. 25, 2025, affects approximately 60% of Sedgwick County residents. With that in mind, Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater will hold a press conference Monday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. at the Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101 in Wichita. She will discuss these important dates:
- 4 – Last day to register to vote in the USD 259 Bond Election
- 5 – Advance ballots begin mailing
- 18 – Advance in-person voting begins at Election Office
Last day to request advance ballot to be mailed - 20 – Advance in-person satellite voting centers open
- 25 – Election Day, with new polling site hours: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
