One Week Left to Register to Vote in 2026 Wichita Special Election

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – One week remains before the Feb. 10 deadline for Wichita residents to register to vote in the 2026 Wichita Special Election on March 3, 2026.

To cast a ballot in the Special Election, a person must be:

  • A citizen of the United States
  • A resident of the City of Wichita
  • At least 18 years old by Election Day on March 3
  • Registered to vote by Feb. 10, 2026

Online voter registration applications are available at: Welcome - Kansas Online Voter Registration (ks.gov). Citizens can also register by mail or in person at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101 in Wichita. Citizens must verify they have a valid driver’s license or a non-driver’s identification card. 

Voters who have already registered need to update their information on record if they have moved, changed their name or want to change their political party affiliation. Voters can check their registration status at Kansas Secretary of State | VoterView (voteks.org).
