Open Meeting Notice: Commissioners to attend Excellence in Public Service announcement
(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Several Sedgwick County Commissioners are planning to attend the 2026 Excellence in Public Service Award announcement at K-State Research and Extension — Sedgwick County, 7001 W. 21st St. N., on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. Media is asked to arrive no later than 9:45 a.m.
This marks the 38th year of the Excellence in Public Service Award, which recognizes public service employees who demonstrate strong work ethic, high performance and a commitment to community. Honorees are selected from thousands of eligible workers from the City of Wichita, Sedgwick County and Wichita Public Schools.
