Sedgwick County Warns of Potentially Fraudulent Events Advertised at Sedgwick County Park

Sedgwick County is warning community members and vendors about three potentially fraudulent events being advertised online through Eventbrite as taking place at Sedgwick County Park in November 2026. These events have not completed the County’s application process and have not been approved to take place at the park.

  • November 6-8: Wichita Fall Artisan, Trade & Vendor Expo
  • November 13-15: Wichita Fall Food & Family Vendor Festival
  • November 20-22: Wichita Food & Family Vendor Festival

Due to concerns of potentially fraudulent activity, including reports that vendors submitted payments and were denied refunds, Sedgwick County has referred information regarding these events to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

Sedgwick County encourages community members, vendors and prospective attendees to verify event details before making payments or traveling to an event. Listings on social media, event-ticketing platforms and other third-party websites are not necessarily authorized or endorsed by Sedgwick County.
