Affiliates Employing Direct Support Workers

NEW Career of Caring option pays YOU to learn and explore direct care work.

Here’s how it works:

Individuals will train for 6 weeks at a time, 40 hours per week, at each participating employer (Rainbows, Child Start, Starkey, and Heartspring), with one week of classroom training. Make $12 per hour, 40 hours per week throughout the 6-month training program. Milestone bonus of $2,000 available.

Example: You train/work at Heartspring for 6 weeks, followed by a week of classroom training, then rotate to train/work at Starkey for 6 weeks, then a week of classroom training, etc. Participants work on a rotating basis so at the end of the program, until each participant has trained at each of the 4 organizations. Additional training and support provided.
