Deputy Arrested on Misdemeanor Buying Sexual Relations Charge

PARK CITY, Kan. — A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was arrested Saturday, April 4, 2026, on a misdemeanor charge of buying sexual relations.

Diego Rubio-Mancha, 22, of Maize, was arrested by the Park City Police Department and booked into the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility on a single count of buying sexual relations.

Rubio-Mancha joined the Sheriff’s Office as a detention deputy in February 2024. The Sheriff’s Office placed him on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
