Sheriff’s Office to Hold Press Conference Regarding April 1 Officer-Involved Shooting

WICHITA, Kan. – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, to provide an update on the ALERT investigation into the officer-involved shooting that occurred Wednesday, April 1, in southeast Wichita.

The press conference will take place in the Sedgwick County 6th Floor Conference Room in the Ruffin Building, 100 N. Broadway Ave.
