Media Advisory: Rainwater available to discuss Special Election polling sites

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater will be available for interviews at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main, to answer questions about polling sites ahead of the upcoming 2026 Wichita Sales Tax Election. The election will take place on March 3, 2026, and is only open to voters who live within city limits of Wichita. Approximately 26,000 voters at 11 locations will have their polling sites impacted by the special election.
