Meyerhoff-Cole named Sedgwick County Division Director of Human Services

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Manager Tom Stolz has named Anna Meyerhoff-Cole as the Division Director of Human Services for Sedgwick County Government.

Meyerhoff-Cole will supervise COMCARE, the Health Department and the Department of Aging and Disabilities.

Meyerhoff-Cole has served Sedgwick County since 2011, most recently serving as the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing workforce development, work environment, compensation and employment. Her previous roles include Director of Central Services, Forensic Administrator for the Regional Forensic Science Center and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness team. She also served as a Budget Analyst for the Division of Finance and supported the Election Office during the 2020 Presidential Election. Meyerhoff-Cole’s service began as a Management Intern in 2011.

"Anna has shown a deep commitment to serving Sedgwick County through strengthening valuable partnerships and systems. We are excited about the vision and experience Anna brings to our Human Services departments.”

Meyerhoff-Cole received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Emporia State University before receiving her Master’s degree in Public Administration from Wichita State University.

Meyerhoff-Cole replaces Tim Kaufman, who retired in Dec. 2025.
