Sedgwick County Veterans Treatment Court to Hold First Graduation Ceremony
(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – The Sedgwick County Veterans Treatment Court will celebrate a milestone with its first graduation ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the First Floor Jury Assembly Room at the Sedgwick County Courthouse, 525 N. Main St.
The Veterans Treatment Court is a specialty court designed to serve justice-involved individuals who have prior military service and a history of experiencing substance use disorders, mental illness and/or acquired brain injury, whether or not those conditions are connected to their military service. The court emphasizes accountability, treatment and rehabilitation while honoring the unique experiences of veterans.
This graduation ceremony recognizes the dedication and progress of participating veterans as they work toward recovery, stability and involvement in the community.
The Sedgwick County Veterans Treatment Court operates through a collaborative partnership among the Sedgwick County District Court of Kansas, Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, Office of the Public Defender, Sedgwick County Department of Correction and Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center.
