Several Events Planned in Jan. 2025 for Sedgwick County Elected Leaders

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – The Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) has several events planned to mark the transition of elected officials. All are invited to attend the following ceremonies and receptions:

• Outgoing Commissioners Celebration for Sarah Lopez (District 2) and David Dennis (District 3)
  Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. (following the County Commission meeting)
• Oath of Office for Commissioners-Elect Jeff Blubaugh (District 2) and Stephanie Wise (District 3),
  County Clerk Kelly Arnold and County Treasurer Brandi Baily
  Sunday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m.
• Passing of the Gavel to welcome the 2025 Commission Chair and Chair Pro Tem
  Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 10:30 a.m. (following the County Commission meeting)

 All events will be held in the auditorium on the lower-level of the Ruffin Building, 100 N. Broadway Ave.
