Officials to hold news conference on community concerns after fatal crash

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. — Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter and Commissioner Stephanie Wise will hold a news conference to address community concerns about the intersection of 135th St. W. and 29th St. N., including the tragic fatal crash that occurred Aug. 14.

The news conference is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Sedgwick County 6th Floor Conference Room in the Ruffin Building, located at 100 N. Broadway Ave.

Officials will discuss the crash, safety concerns raised by residents, and steps under review to improve traffic conditions in the area.
