Update: Pedestrian Identified in Fatal Vehicle–Pedestrian Crash

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan.— In reference to the fatal vehicle–pedestrian crash that occurred early Sunday morning, Nov. 16, 2025, near K-15 Highway and MacArthur Road, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the pedestrian as 33-year-old Nicholas Wade Garcia of Newton.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Major Crash Team continues to investigate.
