Join Us for National CleanUp Day!

National CleanUp Day is Saturday, September 20 - an annual event bringing together millions of volunteers with the goal of creating clean, outdoor spaces. This year, Sedgwick County wants to join in on the fun and clean up our beloved Sedgwick County Park and Lake Afton. Volunteers are needed to:

• Pick up trash and litter
• Pick up small limbs and sticks
• Help paint the small, open shelters

If you would like to participate, just fill out the form below. Volunteers will be working from 9 a.m. to Noon. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

On the day of the cleanup:

• Lake Afton: Meet at the Pavilion Shelter on the West side of the lake (25303 W 39 St South)
• Sedgwick County Park: Meet at the Horseshoe Shelter right off of 21 St entrance
• Bring the filled out waiver form. (Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver)
• Wear comfortable shoes, bring some water and be ready to make a difference in your community!
