85th Street Bridge Incident

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – At around 11 a.m. today, an employee of a contractor working on site was injured and taken to the hospital while working on replacing the bridge on 85^th Street between Woodlawn & Oliver. The replacement of the bridge is part of the Sedgwick County Capital Improvement Program. The construction crew was in the process of resetting a pole for the bridge footing when the employee was injured.
