Commissioners Hold Staff Budget Hearings

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Commissioners will consider division and departmental budget requests at hearings this week and next week.

Budget hearings will be held:

• Wednesday, May 6           1 to 4 p.m.
• Thursday, May 7               1 to 3:15 p.m.
• Friday, May 8                    9 to 10:05 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Monday, May 11               1 to 3:05 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 12              1 to 2:45 p.m.

All meetings will be held in the Commission Meeting Room on the third floor of the Main Courthouse, 525 N. Main. County staff will participate in the hearings either in person or via WebEx. The County Courthouse remains closed to the public due to COVID-19, but all budget hearing will be live streamed on Sedgwick County’s Facebook and YouTube Channel. Recordings will also be shared at www.sedgwickcounty.org. A tentative schedule is attached.
