County to Hold Press Conference Related to Events in Wichita, Sedgwick County

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County officials have scheduled a 11 a.m. news briefing today to announce recommendations related to public gatherings in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The news briefing will be held in the Commission meeting room on third floor of the County Courthouse, 525 N. Main.

County Commissioners will be joined by Sedgwick County Health Director Adrienne Byrne and Local Health Officer Garold Minns, MD.

Media are encouraged to attend.

Currently, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sedgwick County and residents remain at a low risk of infection.
