KDHE Removes Warnings at Lake Afton

The Kansas Department of Health and Enviorment has lifted the Blue Green Algae warning at Lake Afton. It is now on the watch list.

The water is safe for humans, however pets are still banned from the lake. Fishing requirements remain the same, if you keep and clean fish from the lake, filet only and throw everything else away.

The lake will be tested every two weeks or until everything is lifted.
