Mural for Corrections Facility Completed

Members of the media are invited to see the new mural at Sedgwick County’s Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center (JIAC), 700 S. Hydraulic, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

At this event, media will be able to take pictures, shoot video of the mural, and discuss the project with the artists. This project is meant to enhance the facility to engage youth and families, while moving away from a traditional corrections environment.
