Neighborhood Meeting to Focus on Groundwater Flooding

Sedgwick County, Kan.) – District 2 Commissioner Michael O’Donnell II will attend a meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at Colonial Heights Assembly of God Church, 5200 S. Broadway. Residents from Hancock Acres will meet to discuss and learn more about groundwater flooding in the area and find long-term solutions.

“This is a critical situation for residents of district 2 and I want to assist in finding answers and solutions as quickly as possible for the affected residents and their neighbors,” said O’Donnell. “It’s important that we work together to find solutions for groundwater flooding.”
