Revised Tax Statements for Mulvane School District to be Issued

USD 263-Mulvane School District residents in Sedgwick County will see a revision in their tax statements for the second half of 2018. A software glitch impacted the tax rate resulting in an overcharge of .924 mills, which is equal to $10.63 on a home valued at $100,000. The Sedgwick County Clerk's office is currently revising the Mulvane School District accounts to reflect the corrected calculations for USD 263.

Taxpayers should pay their first half of the tax amount due based on the bill(s) they receive in the mail the next few days and watch for the correction on their second half statements.

Residents who wish to pay in full by December 20th should contact the County Treasurer's office for a corrected dollar amount due at (316) 660-9000. Sumner County and Cowley County USD 263 tax bills were not affected.
